Addis Ababa, 13 April1 2015 (WIC) – Angola and Ethiopia are reportedly seeking new areas for cooperation in view of the requirements of Pan-Africanism.
This was revealed after Ethiopia Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn sent message to Angolan vice president Manuel Domingos Vicente last Friday, according to Allafrica.com.
The message was delivered by the Ethiopian Minister of Federal Affairs, Shiferaw Teklemariam, during an audience granted to him by the Angolan official. Speaking to the press at the end of the audience, Hailemariam Desalegn's envoy stressed the wish of his country to have the relations with Angola reinforced.
The visiting minister said that in addition to the presence of the Ethiopian airlines in Angola, the two countries' governments are seeking new areas for cooperation, in view of the requirements of Panafricanism.
Angola and Ethiopia enjoy strong ties of friendship that dates back to the days before the independence of the former, on 11 November 1975. (Allafrica)
