Fujairah Ruler receives Ambassadors and Consuls General

WAM FUJAIRAH, 3rd March, 2014 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, today received Umej Singh Bhatia, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the U.A.E. and Babakr Bah, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal, who paid courtesy visit to Al Remailah Palace.

Sheikh Hamad welcomed the two ambassadors, referring to the strong mutual relations that bind the U.A.E. with Singapore and Senegal and, expressing his hope to upgrade cooperation in various social, economic fields and others.

For their part, the two Ambassadors extended thanks to Sheikh Hamad on good hospitality, praising the role played by the Government of the Emirate of Fujairah to deepen relations between the two countries and the U.A.E. in several vital areas.

Sheikh Hamad also received the Consuls-General of Indonesia and Ethiopia. He welcomed and wished them success in their mission. The Ruler of Fujairah urged them to exert efforts for the development of bilateral relations between their countries and the U.A.E.

For their part, the two Consuls extended thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Hamad on his hospitality and confirmed their readiness to fully employ all available resources and energies in order to improve the relations between their countries and the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
