By Kennedy Lesiew and Eva LagatA youth group in Uasin Gishu county has urged the government to reinstate the Chemelil Sugar Company former director.
Uasin Gishu Youth Forum called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto to reinstate Aaron Toigong who served the company for more than 10 years.
Group chair Richard Kemboi said Toigong positively transformed the company during his tenure and he should be rewarded.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town yesterday, Kemboi said the government should utilise Toigong's experience to realise the factory's agenda.
Group secretary Jonah Ruto said the government should incorporate some old and experienced individuals, especially in "sensitive sectors".
