By Grace KerongoThree top Hollywood stars visited Maasai Mara and got a taste of the bush lifestyle. The three -- Tony Jaa, Michael Jai White and Ron Perlman -- are on an Africa tour to promote their action movie, Skin Trade.
The group is also travelling with film and TV producers Howard Klein and Craig Baumgarten. They arrived in Nairobi on Monday and their 10-day trip through Africa will see them start in Nairobi and the Maasai Mara at the Olare Mara Kempinski, then on to Kigali, Rwanda, where Kempinski recently took over the famous Hotel des Mille Collines. The tour ends at Djibouti Palace Kempinski later next week.
During their stay in Kenya, they got a first hand feel of the Maasai culture and went on a game drive.
Jazz saxophonist Joseph Hellon provided entertainment in the evening after dinner by performing various hits. His skill at playing impressed Thai action movie star Jaa who chatted with him after his performance.
