Nambinga, who was speaking at a rally held at Oshakati on Saturday, said if RDP wins the elections, it will introduce free secondary and tertiary education.
“Abraham Iyambo stole our idea of free primary education. That was our idea but Swapo stole it,” said Nambinga.
Nambinga also said it is regrettable that Swapo should address the masses of poor and hungry Namibians on the message of hope despite the fact that the party does not deliver.
He urged the people not to vote for the sake of voting but to vote for change. “You do not get anything by voting for nothing. It only matters if you are voting for change, and the time for change is now,” he said.
Nambinga further said Swapo's presidential candidate Hage Geingob is not guaranteed to win the upcoming elections set for November.
He said that RDP is ready and prepared to lead Namibia next year.
The Oshana Swapo regional coordinator, Erastus Kapolo, said the idea of free primary education was mooted long ago and that Swapo was in the process of implementing other programmes like free secondary education.
