Black Stars Coach Avram Grant has revealed that he is ready to see through his 2-year-contract, but will only consider staying on after the expiration of his deal if the Ghana FA still views him as the best man for the job.
Grant, who will be with the Black Satellites as a technical supervisor at the 2015 Africa Youth Championship, returned to Accra on Monday after guiding the senior national team to a silver medal winning feat at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
“It’s my job and my dream to build a team for Ghana that can compete for a long time, so I am happy to be here for two more years and then we will see if they do want me, maybe I will stay,” Grant told Metro TV.
The former Chelsea boss is now looking forward to preparing a team to win the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and play in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, which starts in October this year.
