Treana Peake is fresh off the heels of Ted Talks Vancouver. She is a fashion designer and founder of the gorgeous clothing line, Obakki, and its philanthropic counterpart, the Obakki Foundation.
Peake has provided over 400 water wells and built 12 schools in South Sudan and Cameroon leading to self-sustainable growth in the communities.
Peake's fashions have been featured in top magazines like Vogue UK and worn by countless celebrities but her main priority in life is to give back. Peake balances life in fashion with her rock star husband (Ryan Peake of Nickelback) and her children. When asked what advice she would give to her younger self she drew from the lessons she hopes to pass on to her own children, “Have a grateful heartâ€. One can easily get caught up in a world of glitz and glamour but her heart is firmly planted in helping others.
