What can we as South Africans do to ultimately save our country and ultimately each other from being completely destroyed by the criminals that are increasing by the minute. There must be a way to increase the sentencing they get when and if they are caught. Can we try and lobby to bring back the death penalty? Something must be done. PLEASE. The crime happening in this country is getting worse by the day because the criminals know they can get away with it. They get laughable bail amounts and still even more inadequate jail time, should they get sentenced at all cause most of the time their police files disappear, or the witnesses suddenly cant remember or they disappear altogether. This is horrendous people, we must do something. If the people can strike because of wages or transport or service delivery issues, can we as a whole not strike for stricter criminal sentencing? Is there anyone out there that can advise or explain the procedures that must be taken. Deep down I know that nothing will be done as I am so negative about this country at the moment, but at least we can try. Perhaps some miracle can happen to alleviate the crime. We are not safe anywhere, anytime, anyhow. They, the criminals, are everywhere like a terrible disease or plague and it is getting worse. The criminal has no respect for human life because they have no respect for themselves - they are inhuman and the dregs of the earth and it is time they are stamped out one by one.
