ALLAN Kateeba returned 43 stable ford points to claim the fifth edition of the Castle Lite Entebbe Open Golf Championship at Entebbe Club on Saturday.

The handicap 26 golfer beat a strong field of 147 players to the top prize after carding 24 and 19 points on the front and back nine holes.

The tournament had 30 golfers from Kenya’s Kitale Golf Club competing alongside their Entebbe colleagues. The inter-club challenge was won by Entebbe after returning 365 to Kitale’s 346 points.

The Kitale golfers have a mutual relationship with Entebbe and Jinja Clubs and regularly reciprocate such visits which they use to interact and build relationships amongst the players from the two countries.
