BANGUI, Central African Republic: Hundreds of Central African Republic soldiers who joined a Christian militia opposed to former Muslim president Michel Djotodia or deserted for fear of being killed returned to their command Monday.
These soldiers, almost all of them in civilian clothes, were seen by AFP signing up for duty following an appeal Sunday from chief of staff General Ferdinand Bomboyeke, who urged the troops to return to barracks by Monday.
