Promoted West African Football Academy have fired a warning shot to giants Hearts of Oak to expect upset when they meet on the opening day of the 2014/2015 Ghana Premier League on 18 January .
Hearts will have to host the Academy Boys on a neutral ground due to a two-match home ban.
The Phobians were found guilty for misconduct and violence by their officials, players and supporters for the incidents that happened during and after last season’s final league match against New Edubiase in Accra on 4 June, 2014.
WAFA, formerly known as Feyenoord Fetteh, want to deepened the woes of the club.
“It’s a sixteen team league and we are destined to play all sides so we see it just to be another game,” George Ofosuhene, the club’s director of operations, told GHANASoccernet.com
“We want to start well so will certainly be looking to taking all three points against Hearts on the opening day.
“We are here for good and we have to prove that from day one.”
